Wychavon Environment Forum

Transition Evesham Vale has led the formation of

Wychavon Environment Forum

– an association of Wychavon community, local authority and business organizations concerned about the environment.

The geographic scope is the Wychavon district.

The range of topics is:

  • Climate change and adaptation
  • Travel
  • Energy
  • Agriculture, horticulture, arboreal
  • Recycling and waste
  • Local food
  • Wychavon’s Intelligently Green Action Plan ‘Influence‘ and Concern‘ action items
  • Broader biodiversity and health issues
  • Broader environmental issues and concerns

 

Membership is by invitation and can compose:

  • Activity groups ((WWF, VLHT, TEV etc)
  • Environmental campaigning groups
  • Local government (Parish, Town, District)
  • Funding agencies
  • Schools and colleges
  • Relevant local businesses

The forum operates initially as an on-line, virtual association using the  BlogIn collaboration platform, funded in 2021 by  the Transition Bounce Forward initiative:
